Big Steps Forward
I am so emotional today and absolutely blown away at the kindness and support 4 GONE STILL STRONG and our team was shown yesterday at the golf tournament held by Signatures non-profit foundation.
This was their 9th annual event they have held to give back!
They are an amazing group of people that truly understand what trauma brings to individuals and families. We are forever grateful and humbled from their hard work, support, their sponsors, the raffle donations, and the river oaks golf coarse for hosting this incredible event.
We have been approached two times in just the past couple of weeks, about two individuals and their families, who have been affected by separate tragic accidents, that has caused them to become new amputees and they have a hard road ahead of them.
Thank you for all of the love and support we have received so far, thank you for sharing our posts and website with everyone as well. We need your shares so we can further get the word out. Team work makes that dream work and anything and everything counts!
I want to thank our 4 Gone Still Strong board members for their hard work and their want to help others, they are amazing and it wouldn't be the same without them. They have been helping to build 4GST, for the last 3 years and believe in the dream, the cause to give back and make change in a world that doesn't have enough resources.
They are going to need help immediately and may not realize it right now, but that need for help will always show up in many ways for the rest of their life, just like Anna who has been a quad amputee since 2019. She has been a quad amputee for almost as long as I have, and needs an accessible space remodel for her needs and not only for her needs but for her safety.
We really want to be able to help them however we can and we know there are many more waiting behind them. It can be from all sorts of trauma, not only medical trauma.
